The long winter has gone; snow that has accumulated during the winter dissipates to show the ground below. Frozen soil slowly melts to let the hibernating frogs wake up and come out. Their harmony calls up little buds of nature. Little greenlife bursts out of the earth, signaling the arrival of a new cycle of life. It is a gift of Mother Nature – all the new things in this season are her children. Fern glisten in the water of a small stream. The stream flows until it reaches the end of the forest it started in. Springtime flowers demand attention, their delicate petals waving at passerbys. A butterfly beats its beautiful wings to reach a dandelion. It lands on the flower and starts drinking nectar from it. The butterfly then flies up, up into the air, enjoying the spring breeze.
